PHINMA Corporation’s mission is to help build our Nation through competitive and well-managed business enterprises that enable Filipinos to attain a better quality of life.  At PHINMA, Our Business is Our CSR and Our CSR is Our Business.

The effective management of business enterprises, as well as their values and ideals, allows the PHINMA Group to mutually serve both shareholders and society at large.  Through their businesses, companies serve Filipinos of all backgrounds in different ways.  Employees, too, contribute their resources, time and talents to various advocacies that empower Filipinos and make life better for them.  These efforts to build the Nation allow PHINMA Corporation to consistently aid in the holistic development of Filipinos, as well as the progression of the country as a whole.

PHINMA Education Network (PEN) embodies PHINMA’s mantra — Our Business is Our CSR.  Education is a key driver in building a nation.  PEN aims to provide superior education at affordable prices by awarding thousands of scholarships every year and addressing the basic social need of access to education.  PEN is also engaged in community development, livelihood training, environmental conservation, and disaster relief.

PHINMA Property Holdings Corporation (PHINMA PROPERTIES) enables young families to become homeowners.  It offers quality homes at value-for-money prices.  Through its Bagong Buhay Program, PHINMA PROPERTIES provides employment, supports an Early Learning Center, promotes participation in Earth Hour and energy conservation practices all year round, and mobilizes relief operations during calamities.

Microtel Development Corporation (MDC) is into environmental and educational causes.  It participates in Gawad Kalinga and Brigada Eskwela as well as in tree planting events and blood donation drives.

Union Galvasteel Corporation (UGC)’s corporate citizenship is anchored on the SEED program — Shelter, Education, Environment and Disaster response.  The shelter program includes development of a housing community in Calamba, Laguna and a dormitory for the disabled in Davao.  The company participates in the Brigada Eskwela program of the Department of Education for the improvement of school facilities nationwide.  There is also a Summer Computer Camp for elementary school students.  UGC promotes environmental protection through reforestation, and coastal and river clean-up campaigns.  UGC employees are one of the first groups to assist calamity victims.

Trans-Asia Oil and Energy Development Corporation (TA Oil) promotes energy conservation through its Harnessing Energy Literacy for Planet Earth (HELP Earth) Program, which educates the youth on environmental protection and energy efficiency.  TA Oil helps its partner communities by improving education, working with local government units, and initiating livelihood and community development programs.
