PHINMA Solar and LUECO ink partnership for the environment
The PHINMA Group’s continuing commitment to making lives better and nation building is gaining more traction through its youngest subsidiary, PHINMA Solar. A recent inking of a Memorandum of Agreement on Rooftop Solar Venture last April 5, 2019 at Bauang, La Union between PHINMA Solar and La Union Electric Company, Inc. (LUECO) has served to enhance the subsidiary’s initial pipeline of projects.
The partnership between PHINMA Solar and LUECO is a coming together of a solar company and a distribution utility that will maximize their synergies. PHINMA Solar will help LUECO achieve its renewable energy compliance requirements, while LUECO will open up to PHINMA Solar its network of clients that can be best served by solar energy. More importantly, the partnership will allow both companies to contribute meaningfully and with greater impact towards the urgent goals of sustainable and environment-friendly energy for all.
No less than PHINMA’s Vice Chairman Magdaleno Albarracin, PHINMA Solar Energy Corporation’s President and CEO, Eduardo Sahagun, LUECO’s Chairman and President Carlos L. Valero and LUECO’s EVP and COO, Bernardo L. Valero, signed the agreement that augurs well for the energy sector, setting a new milestone in the country’s journey towards a more sustainable future in renewable energy.
